Short freezes when dialogs appear/disappear in 3.3M6 [message #242509] Thu, 05 April 2007 18:12 Go to next message

Hi,

I wonder if others who have a "normal" setup - i.e. not having an eclipse
loaded with tons of plugins and using it through local ssh-Tunnel -
experience this behaviour in the latest milestone:

Whenever a dialog opens, e.g. I use CTRL-F to bring up the Find-Dialog,
then eclipse seems to hang for about 2 seconds during which CPU usage goes
up to 100%. Then everything works fine until I close the dialog again.
Closing takes again about 2 seconds during which again 100% CPU time is
used.

BTW: I use the linux x86/GTK2 version of eclipse.

Probably the same issue as reported in
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=178239.
