I downloaded Eclipse Standard 4.3.2 Eclipse Standard 4.3.2 i was trying to install it but after extracting the rar folder i double click the .exe file the program just lunch the working window instead of installing what am i doing wrong ? someone pls help me am totally new to java and do not hava an instructor yet, am just following tutorials that recommend eclipse but anything about eclipse installation and usage was not treated pls someone should guide me thanks for your help.

There is no installation for Eclipse other than extracting the ZIP/tar and running it. The only other recommended step is to adjust eclipse.ini according to these instructions.
