screenshot showing too many task selectors in status bar

when I have to kill my eclipse (via task manager on windows) the mylyn adds a new instance of the "quick task selector" to its status bar. index.php/fa/18132/0/

I raised a bug report on this.

But until this is fixed:
How do I remove the additional instances (avoiding a fresh install of eclipse)?

Hi Timothy

You can open another workbench window from the Window menu in Eclipse. That should generate a window without the extra trim widgets, then you can close the original window.
