SWT binding for Mozilla [message #23101] Thu, 12 September 2002 00:16 Go to next message

A few people were talking about using SWT as the next generation browser
and using something like XUL. I've just downloaded Mozilla and been
very impressed with what 1.0+ has to offer.

Anyone ever thought of building a binding of SWT on top of the Mozilla
XPToolkit? Could this be a way of getting skins on SWT for free? My
guess is you would need to create a new package to allow XUL to call
back into SWT..

This would be an interesting project as mozilla already support Windows,
linux, mac, and probably others.

Purely unrelated.. but.. If you haven't tried Mozilla recently.. give it
a go. I decided to download it after applying XP SP1 and having
Messenger refuse to close until I closed Outlook Express. I'm becoming
much happier with my desktop these days.. eclipse, mozilla and open office.

David.
