I have a Question wether there are known performance issues using Birt
Report Viewer + Engine in Web-Apps running on BEA Weblogic App-Server.

Due to the fact that our Web-Apps are JSF-based we use an EventHandler
implementation whose responsibillity is copying the business-data
(consisting of beans residing in the session-scope of the faces-context)
into the ReportContext.

The generated report is about 400kb in size.

The Web-App runs fine untill the first report is generated. After that the
application slows down. Restarting the server fixes the problem, simply
closing the session does not.

Monitoring the memory performance of the Server (including garbage
collection of the VM) indicates no memory leakage/problem.

Below there is the current configuration.
Bea Weblogic Server 8.1 SP5
Birt-Report Engine 2.1.2
Sun jsf-impl-1.1.2_02
myfaces.tobago 1.0.10
