Hi there,
I have an Eclipse installation without the Eclipse sources. For
debugging and browsing I would like to have all Eclipse sources attached
to the corresponding jars (the jdk sources are okay, I only need the
eclipse plugin sources).
1. For the library tab in the build-path options of any specific project
I can see that there are jars attached which store no source code at all
and unfortunately it says to be "non-modifiable".
2. Where do I get all the sources so I can attach them easily? From cvs?
Do I have to pack them up or something? For every plug-in jar
seperately??? From an Eclipse SDK download? Which one has all sources?
The "Eclipse for RCP/Plug-in Developers", because its the largest zip?
I would like to avoid using a completely new SDK with the sources
already attached, because I don't want to loose my current installation.
And for plugins that are not contained in the SDK (e.g. EMF, GMF, ...) I
would like to add the source too.
Best regards,
Hauke

Hauke,
I'm not sure that the source plugins are available via the update
manager. Normally if you unzip the SDKs the source plugins are
included and then the source will automagically be available. So that's
certainly the best way.
