How do add a printAction (or other that doesn't have a retarget action) [message #234849] Wed, 30 May 2007 20:56

1) What did registering the print action and declaring the global action
key do?
2) If I need strongly typed constructors and so don't want to use
plugin.xml is there an elegant/appropriate way to install a print action
in the menu?
3) Why isn't there a retargetAction for print? (A variation of the what
is a retargetAction question).

When I followed the instructions from the redbook to add the print
action - nothing happened. It didn't appear in my File Menu or Coolbar -
what more must I do?

(with apologies - asking my questions in a batch got little attention
except for Jens - so I will ask then one at a time.)

Thanks in advance for any help
