Modification Timesstamp change in the complete project. Why ? [message #21970] Tue, 29 April 2003 08:11 Go to next message

Hi, we are using Eclipse 2.1 with a Solaris based CVS 1.11 Repository that
is accessed via pserver protocol. We are quite happy with this, but from
time to time all files in a project are marked as changed. When you
Team-Syncronize with repository... , all Files are marked for an outgoing
change. In fact, the content is the same as in the archive and when you
commit them all, no new version will be created. Instead, the CVS console
says:
Modification Timestamp was changed for xxx but the content match that on the
server. The timestamp has been reset.

We use Window NT as client OS.
Anyone saw this in his CVS Installation ? Is there a solution for that ? As
this happens every 2 or 3 days, it is sometimes difficult to identify real
changes in my local copy.

Thanx
Andreas

I don't know if this is the cause but Eclipse only supports CVS server
versions 1.11.1p1 and beyond.
