Hi!
I'm trying to insert background-image in a report I'm working on but
there is an issue.
I tried to use 72 dpi, 96 dpi and 300 dpi image but in each case the
result is the same : in the PDF Report view, the image is bigger and
more "pixelised" than in the preview mode.
I don't understand why my image is modified.
I can't find any post talking about my problem.
So, if someone has a solution...
Thanks.

I have the same issue as Leo.
I have an image(jpg, gif, svg). When I add a report item image object to
the layout and set the properties to use my image then the image appears
correctly, no pixelation, etc. Note when I say correctly the preview screen
and the PDF look very different depending on the resolution of the image.
But the PDF prints it out correctly.
When I take the same image and add it as the background image of a style
then the only image format the even comes close to working is an image of
resolution around 75dpi. (jpg and gif work, svg does not show at all) Higher
resolutions just keep getting bigger.
Is there another way to add the image as a background instead of using it
as a style?
Is there a way to make the style background behave the same as the report
item image object?
What I'm trying to achieve is create a form as a background to a report.
The form has lines and other images that must be placed precisely. All the
report does is print into the blank spots on the form. The placement of report
items using pixels margins and paddings means I can get the items in the
correct place but I cannot get the background image correct unless the resolution
is real low. This resolution is way too low for the required result.
Has anyone been able to achieve any of this?
thanks, Graeme
