Adding JAR to the EAR project lib dir on "J2EE Module Dependencies" [message #222647] Tue, 14 October 2008 10:37 Go to next message

Hi!
I am trying to set up module dependencies on j2ee ear project. I wold like
to add external JARs into the lib directory of EAR. But "In Lib Dir"
checkbox are disabled for some JARs and enabled for another. Both JARs
seems to be equals for me.
Why do "In Lib Dir" disabled for some JARs?
Thanks.

PS. I am using "Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers 3.4.0" package.

Probably, because of bug
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=246852.

Check if it applies to your case. The solution is still under investigation.
There is an ugly, but working, work-around proposed by another community
