How do I hide a particular type of file (say *.pyc). The *.class files
usually don't show up. Same is with .classpath and .project. Where can I
set these preferences?

Thanks,
Srikanth

Hi. I think you want to set up a filter for your view. You can get to
Filters using the down-arrow menu in the view (e.g., package explorer,
etc.). There is extensive Help information on Filters. Hope this helps.
