Editing XML based on content [message #219234] Mon, 10 July 2006 09:19
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,
If this is the wrong news group, please let me know the correct one for this
post.
I have XML documents that I can identify based on content and assign a
decorator for (I use the org.eclipse.core.runtime.contentTypes extension).
They all use the .xml extension. I have created an EMF based editor for
these types of files, but what I wiould like to be able to do is make the
editor be the defeult one for them when the user double-clicks them. Can
anyone tell me how to go about doing this?

thanks alot,
barry
