Hi There,

Trying to build Buckminster in eclipse 3.4 on Vista and hit a problem.

I followed the cquery [1] listed on the Buckminster committer wiki page
[2] and have run into the error below. Is there anything else I need to
do with my eclipse env in order to correctly materialise the source
tree? Not sure why it's trying to bring in a Linux x86_64 bit version of SWT

Many Thanks,
Adrian.

Unless you have the delta-pack installed, the buckminster-dev cquery
will import fragments for all platforms into your workspace. It needs
them in order to build the complete update site.

Not sure why you get an error when connecting to this URL. It seems to
work fine, at least from my end. Could it be some intermittent network
problem?

Tried the materialisation again and it failed later on in the process.
Tried it again and it got as far as putting stuff into the workspace but
ran into issues with files being locked. Finally switched to a new
workspace and started again, this time it succeeded. Now the only thing
is, should Buckminster deal with transient network problems a little
more gracefully?

Thanks for your help.
Adrian.

Indeed. We should have some preferences for a connection retry count and
retry delay or something. Could you please enter a bugzilla for that?

Thanks,
Thomas
