hello everyone
i want to create a SPECIAL XML editor based on Eclipse XML Editor,so i
have to extends Eclipse XML Editor.But after reading some issues,i think
this work is so difficult,and there are no such courses about Eclipse XML
Editor extension.

can anyone help me?or just give me some advises,thank you!

What type of editor are you trying to create. If you are only needing
to redo some basic stuff like Content Assistance, and Validation. You
might want to take a look at the XSL Tools source files, as it does what
you are after.

We extend the XML editor to provide XSLT editing support.
