Hello,

I've a question to handle the eclipse IDE on a MacBook Air. I have to use the VoiceOver screen reader to get access to the OS X operating system (Mavericks).
As a software developer I'm also interested in implementing java applications via IDE. So I want to know whether it is possible to use eclipse with VoiceOver.
I already contacted Apple but they couldn't answer that question and only recommend me to contact you.

I thank you in advance for your reply.

Hi,

Excuse me for this late reply. I hope you had already solved the question...

Please check SWT FAQ for basic accessibility feature of Eclipse. VoiceOver is listed as supported screen reader.
https://www.eclipse.org/swt/faq.php#screenreaders

In addition, you can get more accessibility related info and can also submit bug report etc. from URL below.
https://wiki.eclipse.org/Accessibility

Best regards,
Kentarou
