Static Web projects: where to find the features listed in the documentation? [message #216547] Tue, 01 July 2008 21:03 Go to next message

Hi,

since at least Eclipse 3.1 the WTP User Guide -- among others -- names
the following features of Static Web projects (cf. [1] for Eclipse 3.1
or [2] for 3.4):

* a broken link fix-up wizard
* a Web site navigation tool

However, I can't seem to find these features anywhere. I have looked for
them in Eclipse 3.3 with WTP installed and also in the most recent 3.4
release. Does anyone know whether these features actually exist(ed) or
whether they were only planned once but not finished, yet -- or even
have been dropped?

Or do I perhaps have wrong expectations and the navigation tool is just
the Project Explorer view, for example?

Thanks for any hints,
--Chriki

Sorry, this is an error in the documentation. We in WTP don't have that functionality and no immediate plans to .... want to volunteer? :)

I have opened bug 239753
