Hi All!
It's Monday and I need to build the weekly activity report :) I supposed
Mylyn could help me with that, so I've installed the Mylyn sandbox tools.
On the request to create activity report for me, I get the following error:
org.eclipse.ui.PartInitException: Unable to open editor, unknown editor
ID: org.eclipse.mylyn.tasks.ui.planning.editor
I've found editor with ID org.eclipse.mylyn.tasks.ui.editors.planning in
the Mylyn packages - looks pretty like the one missing, but with the last
two words swapped. Is it a typo or another mistake? Is it possible to fix
the ID without recompiling the code?
Sorry in advance if the issue is already in the Eclipse Bugzilla - it is
inaccessible at the moment.

Hi Rob,
I haven't managed to find it in Bugzilla either, but I've checked the =
latest dev build (20070802) and it works fine for me.
The download site says dev builds are production quality - will see... =3D=
)
As the problem has been fixed, I'm not sure whether I should submit it. =
On =
the other hand it could be useful for other Mylyn users. The best place =
=
for such a thing would be a kind of 'known issues' disclaimer somewhere =
in =
the wiki, but I didn't find one. So, what action is preferrable?

Yes if resolved we don't really need a bug report now but what you could
do is contribute your experience in the form of a FAQ entry:

This could be under a new Heading called Sandbox (Task Activity Report >
Known issues) for example.

Yes if resolved we don't really need a bug report now but what you could
do is contribute your experience in the form of a FAQ entry:

I just wanted to say that I just installed the latest dev build to try the task activity
report and found that the changes that Robert has made makes the task activity view very
cool! This is exactly what I've been waiting for. Having it break out the elapsed time
per day is perfect. Well done!
