M7 Merge View??? [Learner driver] [message #215801] Thu, 25 March 2004 11:21 Go to next message

Merging in Eclipse < M7 used to be a doddle. Now when I follow exactly the
same procedure in M7 (right click on target project, merge, select tag for
root of target branch, select source branch), the "Syncronise view" pops up
and the diffs are not shown - what am I doing wrong.

Thanks

Is there anything in the log file? Merging is run in the background so
you may not get prompted if there is an error (I can't remember the
behavior in M7).

I ran into the same problem but after snooping around I discovered that the
Synchronize View toolbar allows you to select the contents displayed. One of
the items is the 'diffs' you just ran.
