We have need to use BPMN from within UML and link it to other UML elements. Does anyone know of a Papyrus (or other open source) implementation of the UML profile for BPMN? We only know of the commercial implementations, such as in Magicdraw-UML.

The BPMN profile standard can be found on the OMG site.

Hi Cory

Have you looked at

https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/soa.bpmn2-modeler

which I think supersedes

https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.mdt.bpmn2

Hi,

The BPMN project provides support for BPMN as a standalone domain model (Ecore-based I guess). This is not a UML Profile for BPMN

As far as I know, there is currently no implementation for the BPMN profile in Eclipse/UML (And I'm sure that the Papyrus project itself doesn't provide it)

It doesn't seem to be part of the Eclipse/UML2.Profile project either.

Camille
