Hello fellow Eclipse users,
I'm a relatively new user to eclipse and I'm trying to use it's SFTP
functionality to connect to a server where I work, but I'm unfamiliar with
SSH and public key encryption. I've already setup a connection via WinSCP
and Filezilla (using putty and pageant) but I'm having a very hard time
trying to do the same through Eclipse. Can anyone point me towards a good
tutorial or a step-by-step guide of how to do this?
Thanks in Advance,
Sean

I've looked at that actually, and while it provides a good guide of
downloading and installing the plugin it doesn't go through the steps of
connecting to a server with it. Here's what I've been doing.

1. Go to Preferences > Team > CVS > SSH2 Connection Method
2. Go to Key Management and load the private key (translated from the
Putty format to OpenSSH)
3. input and confirm the passphrase
4. New Connection > SSH Only > Input the Hostname > Select SSH Shell
Service
5. Attempt to connect via the newly-created connection, but receive the
error message "Auth Fail"

Any ideas where I'm messing up?
