Hi everybody

I wanna to develop an application to display line chart from existing data (let say
development of the prices of product X for Y months). On top of this layer user could put
his own markers or draw lines. After all some mathematics would be applied.

I would like to receive advice of follow questions:

- Is it suitable at all to use GEF / Draw2d?

- Should I draw line chart as a single Figure or use a chart node as a Figure and connect
them with connections or even make a hierarchy of Figures?

- I would like to have a rulers on side to display scale of chart (price/month). Are they
supported from EMF/Draw2d framework?

I do not need a detailed explanation but a hint where to look (class/interface names,
articles, help chapters, etc.)

best regards
Ram

Here is a great site for beginners. It is an easy read, but leaves you
with a lot more than most tutorials.

http://eclipsewiki.editme.com/GefDescription

If the pictures don't load, just hit F5. They usually load the second
time around for me.
