Hello All,

My apologies if this question has been asked before.

I am currently trying to export the Comparison retrieved by EMFCompare to a file. I did not find a solution anywhere using the latest version of EMFCompare. Could anyone point me towards a solution?

Hi Bram,

The feature to export a comparison result is only available for fully local comparison for now. You can access it through the little "disk" icon at the top right of the comparison editor (see attached screenshot).

There is no extension point for this yet, and the exported file will not allow you to reopen a comparison editor on it. We have no plans to work on this aspect yet since we concentrate our efforts on a complete integration with the Team frameworks, but feel free to contribute : we'll always look at patches coming our way.
