Adding Stereotype in Papyrus UML Sequence diagrams [message #1271692] Sat, 15 March 2014 18:52 Go to next message

Hi,

I have been trying to add stereotypes in the UML sequence diagrams using Papyrus. I have been able to add the stereotypes in Class diagram but couldn't figure out the way to do the same for the sequence diagram. Anybody has any idea on how to do this?

Thank you.

Hi,

You'll need to be more specific about what you are trying to do. Are
you looking to *apply* a stereotype to some element in a sequence
diagram? Because sequence diagrams don't support the modeling of
stereotypes in the way a class diagram or profile diagram would.

Do you need to apply a stereotype to a lifeline? Or to the
property/variable/parameter that the lifeline represents? Or to the
type of the property/variable/parameter that the lifeline represents?
Or something else?

Cheers,

Christian
