Hi,
I appreciate the pun and artificial word, made out of Maya (what was
wrong with this name, I understand the brand conflict that turned Mylar
into Mylyn)
However, getting from a culture that has died out to a project name
sounding like 'Main Stall' (and 'Stall' also pretty much meaning the
same thing as to die or getting strangled, blocked, etc.) is not the
best possible combination of words.
I came across some similar naming concerns when I wrote about the newly
proposed OMFP project and why they chose the word 'Platform' in their
name which some people might confuse with being a sub project of the
Eclipse Platform...?
Their rationale was that calling it Open Financial Market Framework or
simply Open Financial Framework would literally turn people OFF ;-)
Anyway, no hard feelings please, and all the best for the project.
