I tried to create new java class and I check "Generate Comments"
I got Error Message Box, written inside it
Creation of element failed
************************************************************ *********
Reason:
some charachters cannot be mapped using "Cp1252" charachter encoding.
Either change the encoding or remove the characters which are not
supported by the "Cp1252" character encoding
************************************************************ *********
So I've opened Preferences then General then workspace to check "Text file
Encoding" , the default value was "Cp1256" I checked other encoding schema
I didn't find "Cp1252".
Still I didn't give up
I searched on the local hardisk for files "Cp1252".
I found few files carry the same encoding name then I copied them to
this directory
C:\Program
Files\Eclipse\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.help. ui\scope_sets
Then I closed Eclipse and I ran it again then I checked "Text file
Encoding" from preferences. I found "Cp1252" encoding schema, I choosed
immediatly then I tried to create new java class with "generate comments"
I got the same exeption.
Please if you know a solution send it to me

Hi Hossam
This behavior is because you have probably in comments national
characters. I suggest you to go to preferences->general->workspace and
set UTF-8 as default.
HTH,
Chris
