Hi,

I would like to have the completion working on the xpand template
contained in the plugin org.eclipse.gmf.codegen.

I have check out the project and tried to put the "templates" folder as
source folder, but this isn't working.

How can I have the completion in these templates ?

My configuration :
- Windows XP
- JVM 1.5.0_13
- Eclipse 3.4.0
- OAW 4.3
- GMF Tooling 2.1.0
- GMF SDK 2.1.2
- GMF 1.1.2

Thanks,

Thibault

Hello Thibault,

AFAIK xpand editor used by GMF is available as a part of "gmf-sdk-experimental"
distribution. In other words, you should have "org.eclipse.gmf.xpand.editor"
plulgin installed as a part of your platform to have it running. All the
other necessary settings are already set for org.eclipse.gmf.codegen, so
if you check out it from CVS you should get it working.

Hello Alex,

thanks a lot, it was that.

I had already tried this editor, but didn't succeed in having the
completion for the path of other xpand files (xpt::diagram::...) and I
didn't try on variables...
Moreover the name of the editor is not very intuitive. I though it was
an older version of the xpand editor... So I didn't test it a lot.

Do you know if the filepath completion is available ?

Thanks,

Thibault
