0.10.2 release notes et al... [message #1256170] Tue, 25 February 2014 01:47 Go to next message

I don't know if this is particularly related to Papyrus or is an Eclipse thingy, But now with Eclipse SR2 and Papyrus 0.10.2 coming, I have tried to scan the Bugzilla repository to figure out what is actually done and what is not. But in my inexperience of using such tools I cannot say I had any success.

So, firstly, is there a file in the installation that lists the Bugzilla entries fixed for a particular Papyrus release?

And secondly (more off topic), can anyone with the proper experience teach me how to make the appropriate searches in Bugzilla if that is the way to go?

Regards,
Tomas Sandkvist

Hi Tomas,

In theory, the plan is available here:

https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.mdt.papyrus/releases/0.10.2/plan

However, we didn't properly move to the new Project Management Interface, so we still use the old xml-based project plans:

http://www.eclipse.org/projects/project-plan.php?planurl=/papyrus/project-info/plan_kepler.xml

http://www.eclipse.org/projects/project-plan.php?planurl=/papyrus/project-info/plan_luna.xml

And we only provide them for major releases; not service releases.

The Project Plans are computed based on Bugzilla queries such as:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?classification=Modeling&field0-0-0=flagtypes.name&field0-1-0=flagtypes.name&keywords=plan&keywords_type=allwords&list_id=8354649&product=MDT.Papyrus&query_format=advanced&status_whiteboard=Editors&status_whiteboard_type=substring&target_milestone=M1&target_milestone=M2&target_milestone=M3&target_milestone=M4&target_milestone=M5&target_milestone=M6&target_milestone=M7&target_milestone=RC&type0-0-0=substring&type0-1-0=notsubstring&value0-0-0=luna&value0-1-0=luna-

(Mylyn/Bugzilla can help, here Smile )

What's important here is:

- The "plan" keyword
- The target milestone
- The "Luna" flag
- The status whiteboard (Category)

Camille
