Team Project Set - Specify Version [message #1255641] Mon, 24 February 2014 12:13 Go to next message

Hi everybody,

is it possible to define a version in the project reference instead of a branch? I think it's possible to clone a tag with git clone -b option., but when i try a reference like "1.0,http://eclipse.org/git/some-project,v01,." it doesn't work. (Just the .git folder is cloned, and EGIT fails when looking for the .project File)

We would like to migrate from CVS, where we also use project sets. In this project sets we define versions of the projects, which should be checked out.

Thanks for your help!

Matthias

Sry,
just found this:
https://wiki.eclipse.org/EGit/New_and_Noteworthy/3.2
PSF import also supports checking out tags, not only branches

So everything is fine for me Smile Sry for any inconvenience.

Thanks!
