Dear all,

I have a problem with setting up a server in one of my Eclipse SDK 3.3.1.1
environment.

The JBoss server I am trying to start is located in the workspace of my
second Eclipse environment under the directory
c:\DataFiles\eclipse\jfire-workspace\deploy\jboss\

I have two eclipse environments :
- a freshly installed SDK 3.3.1.1 with all plugin's . The creation of
setting up and launching (starting) the jboss server gives no problems

- a second environment in which I installed the software of jfire.org,
nightly build. When I set up the server I notice in the Edit Server
Runtime dialog that when I enter the above path I get the messsage Missing
Classpath entry and it shows me the path
C:\DataFiles\eclipse\jfire-workspace\deploy\jboss\bin\bin\ru n.jar. Notice
the double bin. When I remove the bin from the application server
directory C:\DataFiles\eclipse\jfire-workspace\deploy\jboss all goes well
during the creation of the server runtime.

When I try to start the server I get the message:
The archive: /deploy/jboss/bin/run.jar which is referenced by the
classpath, does not exist.

When I go to the launching configuration I see under the tab Classpath the
node user entries contains run.jar - \deploy\jboss\bin\

Looks like if deploy is defined as a variable containing a path, somewhere.

When I look under the tab Source I see the node Default but nothing
underneath it.

Is there anyone that can help me out here. I have tried everything today
to get it working from within the second environment but no luck at all.

kind regards,
Danny

Dear all,

Let me rephrase my question a bit:

Jboss is installed in the directory \workspace\deploy\jboss

When I create a server definition and open the launch configuration I can
see underneath the tab classpath run.jar is referenced under the node user
entries .

When I start the server I get the error message that the run.jar
referenced in the classpath does not exists.

I copied the whole jboss directory to separate folder under the workspace,
recreated the server definition and started the server. No problem

Is there someone that encountered this kind of behavor and solved this
problem.

Danny
