Hey folks,
Sometimes after I've been using eclipse for sometime the keyboard
layout changes so that the " is replaced with a @. I guess the keyboard
region settings have been changed because of some combination of keys I'm
hitting. Does anyone know what the problem is?
thanks,
Mark.

It is seems to be W****s problem. Launch eclipse and check the language
bar if settings are ok. Then go to Control Panel and disable switching
languages. Combination is Ctrl+Shift+ALt (pick two) +something and it is
easy to hit it accidentally while shortcutting eclipse.
HTH,
Chris

Thanks Chris ye pointed us in the right direction.
If ye right click the windows taskbar and select Language bar under
toolbars
then you'll see the selection of keyboard layouts you currently have
employed on your machine, either remove the ones you don't use or else
toggle the shortcut key to get to the one ye want.
Thanks for the help Chris,
Mark.
