Update site problem [message #19620] Fri, 23 May 2008 06:53 Go to next message

There seems to be a problem with the update site. The one at
download.eclipse.org seems to be pointing to
org.eclipse.team.svn - 0.7.0.v20080425
which does not seem to be there

The copy at the UK Mirror service points to
org.eclipse.team.svn - 0.7.0.v20080521
and that does seem to be there.

The UK mirror service URL implies that download.eclipse.org is the
master copy so unless that is fixed the mirror will presumably update
itself to the broken state before too long.

The archived update site for the 20080521 version seems to be OK.

Hi, Owen.

Maybe there is some problems with some Eclipse Update Manager cache, or
your proxy cache...
Are you using proxy server? Cause we have the same problem sometimes and
clearing proxy cache always helps:).

The other case if you're not using proxy...
I've just tried to install a plug-in from a remote update-side into fresh
Eclipse and Eclipse IDE with Subversive 0.7.0.v20080517 installed - both
gave me a positive result.

Best regards, Alexei Goncharov.
