USING CREDENTIALS TO FILTER PARAMETER DATA [solved] [message #1245155] Thu, 13 February 2014 06:31 Go to next message

Hi all

Got 2 parameter groups: user/password and Country.

My goal is to request user/pass from user and if it's ok, then show the countries that this user is allowed to see.

My user/pass setting works flawlessly using Datasource property binding but i'm stuck on filtering the data that the user is granted to see. I'm Using Mysql and I don't know how to filter the recordset based on username login.

Thanks in advance

Hi

the way I solved this is creating two reports, first with credentials and second with countries, but sadly you have to request credentials on every report.

thanks
