I plan to buy a Mac mini, and I will upgrade the memory to 1GB anyway,
is it ok to run eclipse on 1.25 GHz version of Mac mini? Or I should
have 1.42 GHz in order to run eclispe smooth?

I've only used Eclipse on windoze, but I think you will have no problem
with the 1.25GHz processor, especially with 1GB of RAM to work with. I
run it at home on a similar speed AMD processor.

I use Eclipse on a 1.25 GHz Powerbook everyday w/o any problems.
