Strong typed dataset - how to achieve ??? [message #1239885] Wed, 05 February 2014 04:08 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello.
I am developing an android application, with eclipse-juno-based "ADT", which is a eclipse ide, which already delivers all necessary things to start android development without huge configuration-issues.

Now i need to add at least two stronng typed datasets to my application ( similar to those xsd files in c# ) .
In visual studio one can "draw" tables and the studio generates much stuff in the background.
I need this in java. I read about BIRT.

Is this the tool to go for ?

http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/ generates strongly typed APIs from
XSDs or from Ecore models and someone has ported EMF to android
