Anybody knows about eclipse and JDK 1.5? [message #202139]

Hello!

I would like to use the J2SE 1.5.0 Beta 1 with eclipse. Seems that eclipse
does not support the new compiler features (generics, etc.) of the JDK 1.5.
Does anybody know whether the eclipse team is working on this and whether
any anouncement has been made when support for the JDK 1.5 is there?

3.0 is supposed to support 1.5 when its finished, but it doesn't yet.

This topic has been discussed to great length in the past couple of
weeks. Please search through the newsgroup archives before asking
questions - there is much more information in old threads than you're
likely to get by asking the same tired questions again.
