Has anyone had experience in producing an RSS feed from batch generated BIRT reports? If so, could you provide some clarification on how I'd go about doing this?
We are looking into rolling out a few reports on our website, but our content manager has specified that the reports would be best captured via a monthly RSS feed. Because we use Drupal for our public content management, we do not have the permissions to pull the content via a REST or SOAP API.
I was thinking about creating an automated script that would generate the reports and then post them on Twitter (the information is public data) and then having our site capture the Twitter RSS feed, but that just seems clunky. Is there a better solution?
