Hi,

I am wondering why plugin org.eclipse.e4.ui.model.workbench.edit was removed?

Right now I have a model which has a reference to MPerspective.
It is not extension to Application model, but separate model which I would like to edit in default reflective editor or EMF Client Platform.

Problem comes when I want to generate EMF.edit plug-in and dependency to org.eclipse.e4.ui.model.workbench.edit is added automatically.

As I am referencing only it is not so huge problem, I can remove this dependency manually. But what if I would like to extend Application Model and edit it in other editor then Ecore reflective one and the one provided by e4tools.

I saw in bugzilla that it was decided to remove this plug-in but do not understand why...

Could someone explain that?

Cheers,
Paweł.
