How to make GMF use EMF copy/paste [message #201469]

So I have a diagram whose copy paste is messed up. After reading the
Eclipse guide
( http://help.eclipse.org/help32/index.jsp?topic=/org.eclipse. gmf.doc/tutorials/msl/clipboardTutorial.html),
its obvious one need to write custom copy/paste actions.
But when I use copy/paste in the backing XML (whose editor is made by
EMF..as simple tree based editor), it works perfectly. It copies and
pastes nodes and their relationships.

So my question, is there a way I can tell GMF based editor to use the
copy/paste commands from EMF?
