I have an executable jar that uses jna to assess the status of a laptop battery AC connection (Offline, Online). This information is added to some temperature data available in an xml file and then packaged as an e-mail (javax.mail.jar 1.5.1) and sent to my e-mail account. It runs fine on one laptop but not another. The issue is javaw.exe - I get an Application Error stating "The instruction at "0x7c910717" referenced memory at "..." The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program. When I click OK the program successfully executes. I've tried a number of tricks but cannot isolate the cause. Any ideas?? Both laptops run XP Pro SP3 and are current w/MS updates.
