Other teams are probably already doing this for AWT and SWT. The common
theme for doing this is to build the UI offscreen, and take snapshots of it
so that it can be displayed in the graphical viewer. This way, you can
paint on top of the UI to show things like handles, marquees, connections,
and drag feedback.
