Hy Alex,

the current document structure is not very flexible as it seems. For example it is not possible to add a title to the Document element, and it is also not possible to have textual description without a chapter or section.

Are these restraints really necessary? I would propose to relax these, as when more exporters have to come available, e.g. OpenOffice, LaTeX, ... this severely limits the possibilities for document expression in these languages.

Hi Marco,

funny you mention OpenOffice & Latex, I'm currently specifying how
Intent could handle external documents (i.e. documentation that is not
written using the Intent syntax). You can take a look at it here
http://git.eclipse.org/c/intent/org.eclipse.mylyn.docs.intent.main.git/tree/plugins/org.eclipse.mylyn.docs.intent/discussion/specs/external_documents?id=82927e84725d9fa31d9bca2c022793ad54c4dcad

You are right, an IntentDocument should have exactly the same structure
as a Chapter or Section (titles, paragraphs & external links).
