Hello,

for a fixed Output, I need to create the pagination by myself. Is there a way to determine the height a Textblock needs by a given width? The Text is some html text with different Fonts and Fontsize in it. So it must be rendered on a virtual Area (which is equal to the rendering in birt) to decide how much Text could be on one page and where I need a Pagebreak.
The Report has a Grid, with a fixed width. Now I need to calculate the needed hight for the given text.
I downloaded the birt engine source code und tried to find the logic, how birt determine this. In which source do birt this task? How did birt determine the neccessary of a linebreak or pagebreak?

Greetings Thomas
