I'm relatively new to Eclipse, so maybe overlooking something.

Version: 4.3.1
Build id: 5fc19

I have a large C/C++ project open. When I build it, I can't get the Editor Window to synchronize with the errors in the Console Window. If I go into the Console Window and click "Next Error" nothing happens in the Editor Window. Clicking on "Show Error in Editor Window" also has no effect.

I really find it most productive to address the build errors in order, since they tend to cascade, so the Problem Window is not useful to me (although it does the right thing when I double-click on an error in that window, they aren't sorted in a way I find helpful).

What might I be doing wrong, that causes the Console Window errors to not sync with the Editor Window?

Thanks,
Bob
