Hello,

We are immensely pleased with the new CDT release which has made a huge
leap in the C++ development capabilities of eclipse.

We would like to roll-it enterprise-wide, but to minimize installation
time and improve the usability, we would like to have the following
features:

1. Customized C++ project. We would like to have some include paths and
symbols pre-defined.
2. Customized preferences. To avoid having to have users set-up the
network proxy and other minor details, we would like to do it at
installation time.
3. Our own code format. We would like to add our own code format at
installation time and have it selected
4. Code templates. If possible, we would like to have pre-defined headers
when creating source and header files.

If it possible to do any/all of the above, can you provide me some
pointers on how to do it? Even better, since I believe this type of stuff
is of interest to the whole community, this could go in the wiki or the
manual.

Thanks in advance,

Joao Ventura
