how to change the web content directory after the fact [message #197760] Wed, 01 August 2007 02:54 Go to next message

Hi,

when I create a dynamic web project, I can specify the web content
directory
(default is "WebContent").

How can I change that setting after I created the project? I searched
all the menus in project properties, but could not find anything.

The only means I found was editing
settings/org.eclipse.wst.common.component
directly which may not be the most appealing way.

Georg.

Hi Georg,

As of WTP 2.0, renaming the "WebContent" directory will automatically update
the component file setting (same goes for EarContent and Java src dirs).
