Problem creating New > actionSet [message #197053] Wed, 28 February 2007 17:46

Hi,

I'm *very* new to Eclipse and I've been follwing an IBM Redbook on setting
up the Ecplipse workspace for Sametime and further a demo of using and
creating extensions.

My problem is, when creating a new action menu extention I select "Add"
under all extensions tab, then select the org.eclipse.ui.actionSet, ok and
close, but when I right click the action set in the IDE and select "New"
from the context menu the only option available is "Generic" - which I
cannot do anything with it seems. Whereas the tutorial states that there
should be "New > actionSet". The only way I can get an action set in the
extentions menu is to use the Wizard.

Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong?

Many Thanks,
