Hi,

I'm currently working on a web project using PHP and eclipse freezes very often and each time i see that it happens when DLTK is indexing..

How can i do to not "feel" this freezing moment that takes cca 5 sec ?
what should i do to improve the performance ?

thx

Can you provide more information about your configuration?

Eclipse version
OS
PDT and DLTK version

Latest builds of DLTK and PDT for Kepler are much faster than before but currently avaiable only in snapshot repositories:

PDT:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/pdt/updates/3.2-nightly

DLTK:
https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/dltk-nightly/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/org.eclipse.dltk.releng/build/update.site/target/site/

Or you can use unofficial mirror from PDT-Ex group: p2-dev.pdt-extensions.org - this update site contains PDT and DLTK nightly build and many other.

Hi Dawid,

so here are the requested information:

Eclipse version : Kepler Service Release 1 (Build id: 20130919-0819)
OS: Windows 7
PDT: 3.2.0.201306051924
DLTK: Version: 5.0.0.201306060709

for DLTK i had to install new version (v5) because i had the default version which comes with Kepler (by default)
