I installed AJDT 1.1.1rc1 on eclipse 2.1
I wrote a simple apsect (Trace, like the Trace example).
and ran it using AJDT.
it works find. eveything seems to work as expected, but i can't seem to
make the AspectJ Visualiser ( + Visualiser Menu) to work.
I read the faq, and followed the instructions there, but still - nada.
(selected an aspect, selected a project).
I tried refreshing, closing and reopening the views etc. etc. - nothing
worked.
Anyone has any idea?
I know this may seem like a small problem, but i need to present the AJDT
pretty soon, and i'd like to presenet all its features (from what i've
read it's supposed to be a really nice feature)
Thanks in advance

Hi,
When you say that the Visualiser and Menu don't work, what is it that you
are seeing in Eclipse ? * Are you able to successfully open these views ?
* Does the Visualiser Menu have entries for all of the aspects that have
been included in your latest project build (as specified in your *.lst
file) ?
* If no aspects have been included in a project build does the Visualiser
still show you a vertical bar corresponding to the java classes in your
project ?
* If you open the AJDT Event Trace window (Window->Show View->Other...-
>AspectJ->AJDT Event Trace), do you see any error messages in there ?

I too have this problem.
The Aspect Visualiser & Aspect Visualiser Menu views open o.k. but they

neither environment displays any information in either of these views!).
Upon inspection of the AJDT Event Trace, I can see messages like the
following for my classes & aspects
"Model update notification for JdbcAspect.java"
but neither the Aspect Visualiser or Aspect Visualiser Menu views display
anything. My default.lst file contains references to all my classes &
aspects.
Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
thanks in advance
