hi,

I try to build BIRT from CVS but unfortunately I get this error:

compile.src:

H:\eclipse\workspace-BI\org.eclipse.birt.data\lib

failed; see the compiler error output for details.

Need help please...

Ed,

Which version of JDK are you using in your build? Try with JDK 1.4.2.
Please also submit an entry in Bugzilla for this build issue. Thanks.

You must use JDK 1.5.0. There are errors when building of
org.eclipse.birt.data with JDK 1.5.0.

Birt can be build with JDK 1.4.2.

The problem will be solved soonly

I got the same error when I tried to build it with jdk 5.0
But I could build it again(with jdk5.0) by checking out the
org.eclipse.birt.data separately.
Just check if you missed any files or jars..
