I have tried but JavaEditor example doesn't work: [message #18426] Fri, 09 May 2003 11:14
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi all,

Actually I am trying to make the javaeditor example work like a normal
plugin.
I simply copied all the code and removed all the errors. When I open up a
file with .jav extension my editor does get invoked but I am not sure for
some reason I can't type anything on it.I am not sure which class takes
care of the input to editor side so that I can debug it.I did some changes
to the code in the example to remove the errors.as the earlier erros
suggested that for some reason the editor couldn't be created in red in
the view where the editor is suppose to be shown.
I have searched the Eclipse site but couldn't find any information about
fixing this error.
Does anyone has any idea how to debug this.I have run this same example on
another system but I am geting the same problem.
I would appreciate any pointers.
